Description: Very rare collection of nine photos taken in Jerusalem in 1999 at a reception hosted by Cedars-Sinai to launch its new branch office in Israel. Secretary of Commerce William M. Daley (later Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama) was leading a U.S. Trade Delegation of which Cedars was a member. Former President of Israel Shimon Peres was honorary guest. These photos captured many great shots of Peres and Daley at the reception. Of particular interest are the photos of Peres examining the new brochure on Cedars-Sinai, Israel, as Daley looks on. The photos are 7 x 5 inches and in excellent condition.
