Description: Biography: When Jack was eight, and after he was diagnosed with polio, he was given his first paint brush by his mother. During his career, historical images of cotton wagons, harvests, and Southern life were all frequent subjects in Jack Clouse DeLoney's paintings. Using oil paints and watercolors, he paints peaceful scenes he remembers from his childhood. For 17 years, he worked as an aviation illustrator in the Ozarks at Fort Rucker. He has won numerous awards, and his paintings have been commissioned by Bayer, Southern Progress, and the Alabama Peanut Producer's Association. This piece of work is signed and numbered in the lower left. It is 164 of 950. It is presented in a composite wood frame with a brown outer edge, a pewter-tone liner, and a canvas sight edge.
