Description: This is a nice cocoa colored long bed Singer 301a sewing machine. It is in very good condition. It has a few small scratches and chip outs here and there from normal wear and tear. Use the mouse over feature to look at it carefully. Unlike the smaller Featherweight, this is a three quarter sized machine perfect for taking to quilting bees. It has a nice carrying handle on top. This is a slant model machine. That means the sewing arm comes down at an angle and gives it more punching power to sew through light leather, canvas, sail cloth etc. On top of the machine there are oiling points. If there is a hole without a screw in it, it is a "weep" hole for oiling. That way you don't have to always take the top off. I have opened it up top and bottom and oiled and greased it at all the Singer recommended points. The light works. Shipping quote is for the contiguous states. No post office boxes.
