Description: This is a small lathe steady rest that I refinished and painted. The only marking on it says "Hadley", but I've never been able to find any information on it, or one like it anywhere. In the last photo I've given measurements. It has a 2" center hole and appears to be right for an 8" swing as it measures 4" from the base to the center of the hole. I don't think it ever saw much use as the brass bits show little wear. Clearly, the thumb screws I used aren't really correct for this, but they were handy. I'm hoping someone has just the lathe for this.
