Description: These are Smith and Wesson J Frame grips. They appear to be for a round butt frame and the material is very likely giraffe bone. I am not an expert but I had a pair of giraffe bone grips for a 1911 and these have very similar texture to the bone. However, these could be some kind of antler but I don't think so. A grip expert will know better than I. If you aren't show your grip expert friend. That's what I did and he confirmed my believe. Very likely giraffe bone. See pictures for description and condition.
