Description: I bought this A7S several years ago as part of my experimentation with shooting vintage lenses on mirrorless cameras. I was intrigued by its high ISO performance and the 12.1 MP resolution was adequate for my needs. It was replaced in my stable last year by its successor and sat on my shelf since. So it is time to move it out to someone else who will use it. That is why I am selling the unit. The body is in good condition, with some brassing on the edges. The baseplate is unmarked by tripod usage as neither I nor the previous owner used a tripod much. The previous owner, however, did not use a screen protector so there is a mark on the screen. This mark is visible in Image 7. However, when the camera is operating the scratch is not visible (Image 8). Neither does it impact camera operation. I just find it unsightly. The camera is priced accordingly. Furthermore, and more importantly, the mechanical shutter has only 11,679 actuations (Image 9). Again, the camera price reflects the low actuation number. One Sony battery is included with the camera but I do not have the charger for this camera. OEM and third-party batteries and chargers are readily available for this camera. I recommend using OEM batteries (experience) and the Nitecore chargers offer good features (lots of information) at a fair price. The last image is a test shot of my dog with this camera and one of the vintage lenses in my collection. Shipping will be Flat Rate USPS Priority Mail with tracking.
