Sony SL-5000 BetaMax NEEDS WORK as is VCR Tape Player deck + Remote, Manual

Description: Sony SL-5000 BetaMax VCR Tape Player For Parts Or Not Working like most of these it set unused for a long time and needs some workWe opened it and checked inside where we found it to be clean for the age. Tested with a couple tapes. Tape cartridge drops right in smoothly. We found it will only load the tape to the heads, if you help the load mechanism a little as it loads the tape. (looks like belt that drives it is a bit aged and slips if you do not help it along) Once it loads, when you push Play, it plays sound and video, but the picture has snow/lines like either the speed or tracking is off a little or possibly head issue. You can see the image but with the lines etc over it or jumpy with lines. FF and Rewind worked fine. I do not have time to further investigate the issues or get a service manual, so selling as is for parts Physically is in amazing condition.
