The very thin and flexible characteristics make it an excellent choice for a variety of sound control applications without compromising space. It is designed to reduce noise transmission through floors, walls and ceilings. MLV is durable, flexible non toxic and odorless. It is also resistant to many environmental factors such as weak acids, oils and alkalis. Typical applications include applying over studs, joists or suspended ceilings. It can also be used as an acoustic wrap for machinery, pipes, equipment and duct-work. Seller DescriptionI purchased this lot of MLV from Burning River Buys in June of 22’. It was for a home soundproofing project that I never got around to doing due to the time consuming nature of the project, which I failed to consider at the start. The material has sat protected on the floor of my fully-enclosed garage floor space at my home since purchase in June of 22’. The lot remains covered with tarps and properly fastened to pallets using two ratchet straps of appropriate weight, and two 45-degree blocks screwed in on either side of each roll. The loaded pallets remain in my yard, on the north side of my home in the shade for most of the day. They are protected from the sun and elements. I live in Colorado, and our climate where I live is dry. These five rolls of MLV originally totalled 1340 square feet. Again, I used a grand total of 71 square feet from this lot for my home use. The lot for sale inlcudes 1269 square feet.
