Description: South Jersey Glass Whimsey Pitcher Gilson Clayton Avon mold Offered here is a whimsey fish pitcher / vase made in a mold formerly owned by Avon to make perfume bottles. Gilson & Sons Glass in Clayton New Jersey made a small number of pieces in this mold during the short time they were in business in Clayton New Jersey, circa 2010-2015. This pitcher was made in blue glass that had lots of color striations going through it. It is in excellent condition, stands 6 1/4 inches tall, and has a pontil mark on the base.
