Description: Offered here is a vintage Novel: SPEEDY by Russell Holman based on Harold Lloyd's Great Comedy, Published by Grosset & Dunlap, New York, 1928. Bright red cloth over boards titles in black. Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the release of the silent film comedy starring Harold Lloyd. Pictorial endpapers showing scenes from the film. On of the several tipped in glossy photos is titled "Speedy Takes His Idol Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium" and The babe is in the photo. Book is Fine in a near fine dust jacket with some dust soiling and a few tiny chips and tears at the flap folds. Page tops have dust; inside nice and creamy white. The brightly colored front panel shows a dapper Lloyd wearing glasses and a straw hat set against a green background. It does have and 'old' odor!
