Description: ONLY AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICK-UP IN North Hollywood/BURBANK area of Southern California. I've had this piece in my collection for many years. A STUNNING IMAGE of the legendary actor. When I originally bought it at a Hollywood estate sale, I was told it hung at the PANTAGES theater in Hollywood at the premiere of a Spencer Tracy film. I've always leaned towards Judgment at Nuremberg. I believe advertising for that film included not only this profile of Tracy, but similar profiles of all the stars (Montgomery Clift, Judy Garland, Burt Lancaster, Marlene Dietrich, Maximilian Schell) of the movie . Tracy was nominated for Best Actor for his performance. Schell won. SPECTACULAR: color tinted and very professionally done. A whopping 30 X 40 inches on heavy board, and I don't mean cardboard. It's 1/4 inch thick, and very sturdy. ONE OF A KIND! Spencer Bonaventure Tracy (April 5, 1900 – June 10, 1967) was known for his natural performing style and versatility. One of the major stars of Hollywood's Golden Age, Tracy was the first actor to win two consecutive Academy Awards for Best Actor. He had nine nominations. During his career, he appeared in 75 films and developed a reputation among his peers as one of the screen's greatest actors. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked Tracy as the 9th greatest male star of Classic Hollywood Cinema.
