Original Monogram Pictures One Sheet Poser (27x41) for the Phil Rosen horror comedy, SPOOKS RUN WILD (1941) starring Bela Lugosi, Leo Gorcey, Bobby Jordan, and Huntz Hall. The Bowery Boys go off to summer camp. They go wandering off and come upon a haunted hose occupied by Bela Lugosi. The movie began production as GHOSTS IN THE NIGHT, but the title was later changed to SPOOKS RUN WILD. The poster is linen backed and the linen lip is trimmed (not the poster, however) so that only about a quarter inch of the lip is left. There are some minor defects, but the poster, which is scarce to be sure, presents well. We have graded the poster as fine plus. This was the last appearance of The East Side Kids performer Donald Haines. Haines was trained as an aviation cadet. That training led to military service and a tragic death in action in 1943.
