SS ROTTERDAM Silver Jubilee World Coins (Item #178)

Description: For your consideration is a set of SS ROTTERDAM Silver Jubilee World Coins. This set was presented at sea aboard the SS Rotterdam on the occasion of Holland America's historic silver jubilee world cruise January 8 - April 1, 1983. This complete set of coins is in excellent condition having been stored its original mahogany box. The composition of the coins look like nickel, but I'm not sure. The box itself has some scratches but is in very good condition with no cracks to the wood. The finish of the wood is nice condition. This would be a nice addition to any serious cruise memorabilia collector. The wooden box measures about 18 x 10 inches and about 2 inches tall. The coins measure about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
