Starrett No. 436 - 2" to 3" micrometer - .001" w/ 2" standard and case 2"

Description: Here is a Starrett No. 436XRL 2" - 3" outside micrometer that is in excellent condition. It has been used??? Obviously not very much. You have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on it. There are no initials or engravings anywhere on it. The biggest flaw would be that the previous owner wrote 2" - 3" on the red plastic case. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a excellent, barely used micrometer. The thimble spins easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The lock and ratchet work like they were new, just as designed. The carbide faces look as if they were mirrors. This is demonstrated by the reflection of the dollar. Everything will work perfectly for you! I guarantee it! The protective case is also in excellent condition. It opens and closes easily, latches shut, and holds these tools securely. It will continue to protect your micrometer for many years to come. Also included is a 2" Starrett standard that has been certified and a small adjustment wrench for making minor adjustments.
