Description: This is a ARIA (Australian) PLATINUM RECORD AWARD for STEELY DAN "Gaucho". Presented to MCA RECORDS. This award is approx 44 years old and shows the associated wear/marks etc one should expect from a vintage award like this one. Steely Dan awards from 1973 - 1980 are almost impossible to find. A RIAA Floater style award for Gaucho will run you $1500-2000 easily. (I paid over $5000 for a Pretzel Logic White Matte award). So if you ever wanted a RIAA Steely award but you cant find or cant afford one this is a wonderful, relatively inexpensive alternative. . Ive been in this Hobby since the late 1980's and Ive collected over 10,000 of these awards in that time frame.
