Vandever Navajo This is a stunning sterling silver cuff bracelet with an equally stunning turquoise cabochon from noted Navajo silversmith Delbert Vandever. The bracelet face incorporates a quadruple bezel surrounding the turquoise, including the twisted wire. There are also five decorative silver beads. on one side. The band comprises six different bands that flare to support the bracelet face. On either end, the band displays excellent stamp work. This is truly a gorgeous piece. The turquoise cabochon has a small inclusion on one side, and is thought to be part of the cabochon form, not a recent development. The cabochon also has variations across its face, and could be considered polychromatic. The band width is 7/8" at its smallest. The bracelet face is about 1 5/8" long and 1" wide. The turquoise cabochon is about 1/2" by 3/4". The inner circumference of the band is about 5 1/2", with an additional 1 1/4" wrist gap. It will fit up to a 6 3/4" wrist. The bracelet weighs a notable 60 g. Please measure your wrist twice and know your size BEFORE purchasing this bracelet. Because there is a stone set in this bracelet, opening it up by hand could crack the silver or loosen it. The same can happen if you squeeze the bracelet too hard to make it smaller.
