Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A CLASSIC VINTAGE STEUBEN CRYSTAL ART GLASS ASHTRAY. This ashtray was designed by George Thompson for Steuben in the 1950's. This classic ashtray has beautiful clarity in the crystal and features a thick bowl one end being higher than the other. The crystal is hand blown and has an applied glass decoration on the lower side. Although originally designed as an ashtray this lovely piece could be used as a mint or candy dish. The piece is in very excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs although there are some minor surface scratches on the base from normal use (see photos). No other noted flaws. Signed with etched "Steuben" signature. Measures 2 3/8" high with a top diameter of 6 1/2".
