It's mostly a flat top guitar, but it does have a less exaggerated bend to it like other Strats. Bought the body and neck here off of eBay and decided to practice my staining and finishing. After working on it up to this point, I'm passing it off to someone who knows more about proper setups - especially for tremolo's. It's finished with an open pore, oil finish (no grain filler). Including back plate cavity control covers, along with pick ups, guitar tuners, wiring harness, output jack, potentiometers, and everything pictured above. Minus one potentiometer from the wiring harness that was replaced with a mini-potentiometer due to the other potentiometer being defective. This is essentially a guitar kit. The back cut is most similar to a Gibson, soft c shaped neck...but a bit more raised near the midline, and a bit more tapered towards the edges of the fingerboard to keep it from having too thick of a feel. generally, "not too thick, and not too thin". Issues: Despite being able to finish it decently I'm still missing some finer aspects to my guitar building comprehension. The neck to body fit isn't exact but close. The neck pocket needs a shim most likely. The fret work is as is from the eBay seller I bought it from but they're not bad (but the open pore truoil finish is all me – sanded back the original finish to make it smoother and oil based). The nut work is undone, the bridge posts need to be drilled as well. There's also a very small worming hole on the lower bout of the guitar body that was filled with wood filler on the maple cap as pictured above (thought about putting a Mother of Pearl accent there instead). The neck screw holes may need to be filled and redrilled. This item needs assembly and work, but it's super close to completion and comes provided with options to use or resale if not to your satisfaction. The finish has cured for a LONG time now and could be buffed and polished for better results. Just don’t have the time to work on it myself presently.
