I have 40 oz bottles, so I didn’t need to cut the straw size. Though, it’s very easily labeled on where to cut, so I’m sure it would be easy to manage. Putting the lid on my bottle was a little difficult the first time, but after drinking out of it, I think that it was easier to drink from, possibly, than its Hydroflask counter part. I’ve had issues with almost every single Hydroflask brand straw lid I’ve had to buy because they either don’t go on my bottle properly and leak everywhere or there’s some issue with getting water through it. So I’ve had to use their customer care several times, and I just got sick of that, so I thought I’d try something else. With these lids and straws, I have yet to have that problem at all. I'm able to use any of my straw or lid brushes to clean them and I never have that weird taste of either soap or possible mildew or mold that may be trapped in the lid or straw. I even tested these on a water bottle that I had purchased from Dutch Bros. and it fit on their water bottle as well.
