SUDETENLAND COVER FROM STADT BARN 1938 WITH THE SPECIAL LIBERATION CANCELS After Germans' take over the Austria in 1938, A.H. started a wide propaganda campaign against the Czechoslovak Government involving Sudeten Germans. Meantime in Sudetenland, A.H. has instructed Henlein to form his Freikorps and provided uniforms and arms. On September 21-22, 1938 the Freikorps took control of the areas of Asch, Eger, Franzensbad and Rumburg in Northern Bohemia and Jauernig in the North of Czech Silesia. On October 1, 1938 Germans crossed the border began occupation of Sudeten territories. The cover from Bärn (Beroun na Morave, now Moravsky Beroun) franked with German stamp and cancelled with the black provisional double-circular Bärn post office cancel with the bear in the center, inscription: “Wir sind heimgekehrt” (We came home) and "liberation" date on October 9, 1938. The cover stamped with another provisional "Bear" cancel without "liberation" date and note-type provisional cancel with sw., the "liberation" date and slogan: “Tag der Befreiung” (The Liberation Day).
