Description: SUB POP 200 3 x 12" EPs 1988 Compilation Box Set* Originally housed in a black box with small affixed sticker featuring art used on the cover of the included booklet. The box is no more.* Various artists, 20 songs, 20 bands (see pictures for full line-up). The 25th release on Sub Pop Records issued in 1988 (SP25) in one time vinyl pressing of 5,000. Most sought after for original appearance of Nirvana's song, Spank Thru. Their debut Love Buzz 7" came out November of 88 and this release came out December 88. The next month, making this the band's second appearance on vinyl... Pretty sure this Soundgarden song remains exclusive to this release as it may be the same for the majority of everyone else. Green River obviously spawned Mother Love Bone, Mudhoney, and Pearl Jam... There's a whole wiki page about this release--same on discos--so you should look it up if you need more detail.
