Superman #140 - first appearance blue kryptonite, Bizarro Supergirl

Description: This is a lower-grade copy of but complete copy of Superman #140 (D.C., 1960). This issue introduces blue kryptonite and Bizarro Supergirl. It also tells the origin of Bizarro Junior No. 1. Bizarro No.1 and Bizarro Lois No. 1 also appear. THE COVER ON THIS COPY IS COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE INTERIOR PAGES. The spine is mostly detached except for the two tears where the staples pulled through, a 1/3" tear in the middle of the spine, and 1/8" splits at the top and bottom. There is a small piece of (unnecessary) tape on the right edge of the front cover, as well as a corresponding tape pull on the back cover. There are moisture stains on the bottom of the comic. There is small pencil writing on the front cover. There are bends and wrinkles on the cover. The colors are vibrant, and there is a lot of cover gloss. There are spots on the front cover where the colors are worn. There is dusting on white areas of the cover. The interior pages are complete with no tears or cutouts. A previous seller graded it as "fair to good." I would lean closer to "fair." I have been selling comics on eBay for about five years, but I have been buying comics on eBay for about twenty years.
