Not only that, but the magnet polarities and winding directions must be configured or there will be phase problems. These are challenges that can take some planning or even trial and error to figure out. The Supremacy HSS calibrated pickups are designed to work perfectly with each other and eliminate all the fuss of having to match the pickups. Calibrated to sound excellent together, suitable for both right or left-handed guitars, and the pickups are compatible with many popular HSS wiring kits/harnesses. All 3 pickups are scatter wound and equipped with alnico 5 sand cast magnets. The single coils have beveled flat poles and provide a warm tone with good output so that they balance well with the humbucker, but tonally they still retain their classic Strat character with plenty of spank/attack when you dig in, and round bell tones when played softer. The humbucker is built like an uncovered PAF that has a pure nickel silver baseplate combined with vintage correct slugs and screws- it’s punchy, with plenty of character, rich harmonics, and overtones. The Supremacy HSS pickups are an excellent choice for rock and blues, but could serve anyone who loves a Strat but needs something beefier and noiseless for their bridge pickup.
