CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH A TEAR ON THE LEFT SIDE THAT ENTERS THE IMAGE WHERE THE MAP HAD ORIGINALLY BEEN ATTACHED TO THE BOOK AND A SMALL WATER SPOT IN SAME LOCATION (Photo 9). THERE IS AGE RELATED PAPER TONING AND DISCOLORATION. This 171-year-old map was originally published c 1790 and later republished in 1849. A fascinating map showing property surveys with the owner's names and date. Folds as issued. 1- The use of flash made the discoloration far more noticeable than it otherwise is.2- No attempt made to repair tear as it does not threaten to get worse and a professional would do a better job than I would.3- Rear Photo (Photo 10) shows folds, discoloration and short tear more clearly.4- There is also a small water stain mark on edge outside of margin and below name of engraver (Photo 8) PLEASE USE ZOOM FUNCTION TO INSPECT ALL PHOTOS I utilize a third party EBAY supplied shipper for international sales.
