Application Synthetic Viva Palm thatch is a universal system that can be installed on new construction, or retrofitted to be installed on an existing structure . Can be installed on Horizontal battens, Vertical battens, Plywood deck, Metal, or Concrete Three starter rows are used to begin a roof using 2 rows of field shingle and 1 row of extended shingle.Field shingle center rows are used 8" on center. Hip/ ridge panels are used on corners and ridges w extras on starter rows 8" along with field shingles. Stainless steel nails , or screws are recommended ( not included) to complete a project.
