Description: Up for sale is this pair of cups and saucers made by the Syracuse China Company. Saucers: Have 3 black pin stripes around a white background. Thicker blanks made for the restaurant trade and features a wave like pattern around the wide rim. Measures 5-3/4" in diameter. The backs are marked "RYKOFF-SEXTON" by Syracuse China 191. Cups: Have a wide gray band around the top bordered by 2 black pin stripes. Thicker blanks made for the restaurant trade. Measures 3-1/4" in diameter and sits 2-1/4" tall. The bottoms are marked "Syracuse China Syralite" and have date codes of 21-C, meaning they were made during the 3rd quarter of 1992. These cups and saucers came from an estate sale in upstate NY - I'm not completely sure they actually go together, but the cups fit perfectly in the saucers and the blanks seem about the same thickness. Also, the cups were made during a time when Rykoff-Sexton was still operating under that name. Condition is excellent on all 4 pieces - there are no chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks.
