Description: Antique first edition hard back book of Tales from Shakespeare spelt Shakspere by Charles and Mary Lamb with forty engravings, published in 1849 byC S Francis & Co, New York. The book has gilt edges and has a plastic cover which has stuck to the hard cover and there is staining on the inside of the cover. The book is in antique condition, with fading/ageing on the top of gilt pages and is in tact but there is movement in the spine and some cornering to the bottom back corner.
