I put it together myself with only a screwdriver. It is about 4 feet long and heavy so you will need to put it into a stud. It had all the pieces and boards (includes a small level) and in excellent shape. Looks very nice in my office! Love this shelf. It is the exact color as pictured and very easy to put together.
