Description: TELESCOPE LASER MOUNTING ADAPTER / Converter This adapter converts a standard telescope "Finder Dovetail" into a picatinny rail suitable for mounting Pinty brand and other picatinny rail mount lasers (or finders) to a telescope. Fabulous problem solving part, makes it easy to mount a picatinny or weaver rail laser to telescope 'synta' dovetail bracket. The dovetail bracket that this fits is a standard dovetail bracket, as found on Orion telescopes and many other brands. NOTE: There is no groove for any screw that many picatinny rail mounts may have. The bottome of the adapter is perfectly smooth. The top is meant to fit a Pinty laser, and the base to fit a telescope shoe bracket. It may not be a universal fit for all picatinny or weaver devices. This is a sturdy plastic part, holds the laser securely without adding weight (1/2 ounce). It about 1 1/2 inches long, it matches the base of the Pinty holder.
