The Texas Mosquito is an approximately three times upscale of the classic Mosquito rocket built to fly on 18mm “C” size engines, this larger version of the Mosquito stands 11 3/4" tall and is built with a BT-60 (1.64” Diameter) body tube. It includes a Kevlar shock cord and 12 inch parachute for reliable and soft landings. This kit includes plastic nose cone, BT-60 body-tube, 18mm ("C"-sized) motor mount, laser-cut plywood centering rings, laser-cut balsa fins, Kevlar brand shock cord, 12" plastic parachute, 1/8" launch lug, self-adhesive decal and step-by-step instructions. This kit is easy to assemble and is a good choice for a first-time builders kit. This rocket can be flown on a standard Estes launch pad. You just need to provide wadding, motors and launch equipment. This rocket has been built and test flown on A8-3, B6-4 and C6-5 motors and has been a great flyer!
