Description: Big Money Records, U.S. ( TX), 1981, 10" 7-song mini lp ( e.p.), original 1981 record in replica ( reissue) cover. EX/ VG Paste-on jacket near mint, a few small dots of factory/ shelf wear. Record has some wear, may show slight wear from long term storage, has a few minor clicks and pops. Original rare 1981 10" mini album, here in replica reissue sleeve with paste-on art cover, as there were apparently more records made than covers; this is one that came from a Texas music industry representative, and had been in storage a long time. The band once featured a young Stevie Ray Vaughan in its ranks, before he found solo fame, though he was long gone by the time this record came out and does not appear on this. Still, the guitar drive is authentic, with slide guitar by Denny Freeman, and the dual sax ( tenor and baritone) attack of Luke McNamee and Smokin' Joe Sublett shouldn't be missed, as they rip through r&b standards like "Tomcat," "I'll Go Crazy," "Checkin' On My Baby," and deliver what is arguably a tighter version of "Harlem Shuffle" than the STONES' hit version of a few years later. A genuine live r&b rock sound.
