Above the sweet spot DiMaggio inscribed “56 in ’41 HOF ‘55”, while below the sweet spot he inscribed “#5 MVP ’39, ’41, ‘47”. The ball is stamped with the logo “Joe DiMaggio 5 The Yankee Clipper” in blue to the left of the OAL Budig stamp. The ball is stamped “32/41” in black. This ball is authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett Authentication (0008601779) which has graded the signature and inscription 10. This item also has been authenticated by JSA (Y48520) and comes with a COA from Preferred Customer Service (A10471), which includes a 4 x 6-inch color photograph of DiMaggio signing.
