Volume I: Book has some damage but mainly on the edges and the inside couple pages. There are a couple stains on the inside blank pages and the inside blank page has a 1" tear at the top. The back few pages have some fraying at the top. The cover is intact but creased and the edges are frayed a bit and inside cover worn. The actual text of the book is in good shape. Volume II: Book has binding issues and should probably be rebound at some point. There is some water damage but affected mainly the edges. Page is damaged from 2 pages sticking together previously. There are a couple stains on the inside blank pages and the inside blank page has a 1" tear at the top. The cover is intact but worn. The first hundred pages are separating from the binding at the bottom, I recommend until repaired (if you choose to) only flipping the left pages halfway or propping them. Part of the binding has slighty separated from the middle. One page was torn out but placed back. The actual text of the book is in good shape.
