Description: For sale is thermometer wall hanging in Dedham Pottery style blue and white crackle from The Pottery Shed. The 14" high piece is up to 1 1/2" thick with the rabbit and leaves in relief. The temperature markings for the 6 1/4" L thermometer are raised and detailed in solid cobalt blue against the crackle blue background. The rabbit stands in a periscoping position indicating it feels safe while it kooks around in curiosity. There are two holes for hanging on the reverse. This piece has some minor damage: if you look for it it, you can find it but otherwise it gets lost in the details. There are four edge leaves with chips, some more significant than others (photographs 11 to 14). The temperature number 110 has a small chip on the dash. The glue for the thermometer has yellowed with age.The hanging is signed and dated 2002 on the bottom. Made in the USA.
