Description: Welcome! This Lovely Witchy design is by The Primitive Needle & is called "The Witching Hour". I have stitched the design on 28 count Ivory Cream Linen fabric using two strands of hand dyed vintage looking floss. The design has a SpOoky little poem that reads "Tonight is the night when dead leaves fly Like witches or switches across the sky The Witching hour is upon us Fly needles Fly!" Beautiful fall leaves, a little black crow, a whimsical key, Pumpkin, & a witch hat has been stitched along with a Witch hand holding a needle & thread & the year 1632. It is surrounded by a Beautiful stitched border of Black squares & lines & would be Fabulous framed & displayed on a fireplace mantle or hutch. The stitched area measures 6 1/2" x 17 1/2" & the whole piece of linen measures 11" x 23". The auction is for the stitched piece only (not the pattern).
