This is the second book issued in 1915, after the publication of “Tarzan of The Apes” issued in 1914 in book form. “The Return of Tarzan” had several printings and was indicated on the verso of the titlepage. This copy is the first printing. The second “Tarzan” book is more difficult to acquire in a first issue than the first book in the series The second “Tarzan” usually shows up as worn. This one is an exception. The dust jacket for this Burroughs title is the most difficult to locate and I have seen only three in my book selling career. First edition first printing.
