Description: THE SCARECROW, Herald (Advertising Flyer), Eisenhower Theatre, Kennedy Center, Washington, DC, 1975. The Percy MacKaye play opened in NYC on 01/17/1911 and ran for only 23 performances. This Kennedy Center production was part of a 10 play series known as The American Bicentennial Theatre and played Boston after DC. The front features artwork, some cast and production credits, performance dates and theatre credit. The back contains background on the play, performance schedule, ticket schedule and mail order ticket form. The cast includes William Atherton, Barbara Baxley and Leonard Frey. Directed by Austin Pendleton. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
