Description: "The Soda Fountain", a work of Fine Pewter from The Franklin Mint 1977, created in beautiful Craftsmanship by Albert Ciriaco. Well cared for, likely in a cabinet or box. This piece has now lived 23 years in the 20th Century and 23 years in the 21st Century. The delicate straws in the soda mug, one of which the young man sips from, appear to be of a very fine wire. A few aging spots if you look very closely but I did not want to polish it. Does not appear it needs it but pewter is easy to clean if you prefer. The entire piece consists of shades of familiar pewter greys in color. All pics, including here, tried to give it a golden tint. It does not have one. I tried to insert a few in grey but still difficult. One is too bright but I left it for better view of the piece. A few observations: It appears the young lady may be looking at her friend with a bit of humorous irritation as she reaches for the soda mug to take a sip before he finishes it off! The soda server behind the counter may be mixing another in anticipation of him doing just that! Maybe it's his mother. :) A few items: gloves, possibly bracelet, bow in hair, bow at waist on apron, shoes of the time (turn of century or earlier), hand sewn trouser stripe or seam, counter container of straws, counter container of napkins, turn of century gas lamp soda fountain. The one straw not in his mouth appears to have an accordian tip. All fountain spigots are present and intact. Note: All photographs are Copyright of Ebay Seller Solomon's Sun.
