CONDITION - The set is in good used condition......The pages are good, with the edges darkened, and with what I would call a light old book scent - which I like……The covers are solid, with general wear and use, chips and scuffs, and torn leather here and there......One book is torn along the bottom front hinge area, and another book is torn on the back along about the bottom third of the hinge - all the other hinges are strong..........This is a purty good ol' set…...And it looks purty a-settin’ on the shelf..…..…I think you will be pleased with it......And I bet you'll love the illustrations - they, alone, are worth the price of the set.......
