On the book itself, edge wear is almost imperceptible. The book binding is tight. The observed defects included a handwritten inscription in the front of the book on the free end paper. There were seven pages of text that had faint red pen underlining on them. The last six photographs are examples of the red underlining on five of the pages noted above. The red underlining is neat, light, and faint, and might not be noticed unless you were looking for it. There is light tanning on the pages. The dust jacket has some evident edge wear, but still is in very good condition for it's age. Here is an opportunity to own a first edition hardcover with original dust jacket.
