The serial # of this particular Raptor Plus, Serial# 90111447, is on the neck plate and it was made in the Republic of Korea during2011. The Raptor Plus guitar model was first made available to the public on June22, 2011. It has a Basswood body and a Maple neck w/21 fret Rosewood fretboard, a Wolfgang-style headstock, and truss rad access where the neck bolts on to the body. It has 15:1ratio die-cast tuners, an SSS pickup configuration, a powerbend fulcrum tremolo bridge, master volume and tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector that is hum canceling in the second and fourth positions. The Peavey Raptor Plus with a Wolfgang headstock is a unique and somewhat rare guitar as most Raptor Plus guitars have been made, and continue to be made, with 22 frets, 6 in-line tuners, truss rod access at the headstock, an HSS pickup configuration, and not the Wolfgang-style headstock. Some Peavey Raptor Plus guitars do feature a Wolfgang-style headstock and this is one of them. It combines the classic Raptor Plus body with the distinctive smaller Wolfgang headstock, giving it a unique look and feel. These guitars are known for their playability and solid build quality. This guitar is in excellent shape. It plays, feels, and sounds great. It has minor and superficial scratches, dents and dings, not at all serious –just the usual wear to be expected from a well-used 14-year-old guitar.
