We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. Like new; almost perfect. The spine is unbroken. There is no dust jacket. Actual front and back cover have very minimal damage. No marks or highlighting in text. Cover lies flat. Collectible, 1st edition. This book is in excellent condition for being almost 100 years old. The end pages are aged (see second to last picture), but oddly, the pages are not. The only negative we see is the back end page has torn, but the book is still firmly anchored to the spine. Personally, we'd just use a daub of glue, but your mileage may vary. :) Please see pictures. We wish we had at least some illustrations but alas, novels are not usually illustrated. The pages are clean, crisp and white, so pages and pages of plain text doesn't really show much more about the condition of the book. Sorry. This is a great book for those who like adventure stories. Also, we can't figure out if these are short stories (we think so) or abridged versions. It has to be one or the other because this book is 676 pages long. The writers work are classics - Balzac, Wilkie Collins, Twain, Voltaire and everybody in between. Please see table of contents. Please help us find a new home for this book!
