Description: Lab World Group The Thermo Scientific NanoDrop Lite Spectrophotometer provides convenient, compact microvolume spectrophotometry that can be kept close at hand. This personal UV-Vis spectrophotometer delivers fast, accurate results with micro volumes and no need for dilutions, using surface tension to hold samples in place. This spectrophotometer operates much like its larger Nanodrop cousins by pipetting directly onto the optical sample plate, and once the measurement is complete, it can simply be wiped off with a lint-free wipe. This personal UV-vis instrument's compact design and built-in software make it easy to place where needed, without a controlling computer, guiding users through an easy-to-use digital interface. Samples are measured at a 260 nm sample absorption for Nucleic Acid and a 280 nm sample absorption for proteins in respect to the baseline absorbance at 365 nm. Data from this spectrophotometer can be stored automatically on the instrument, up to 500, extracted through the USB port to a memory stick or connected to an external hard drive.
