He was unsuccessful in two campaigns as the Republican candidate for President, the second of which was the famous "Dewey Defeats Truman" race of 1948. Condition: A few small spots in lower left blank margin, a number of barely visible short "creases" also in the margins (one of which touches the signature). Generally very good.
