Description: This amazing fossil plate trio is a species of Eurypterus, sea scorpions. The fossils are beautifully displayed on a rock matrix with a New York or Canada locale. Eurypterus lived in the Silurian Period around 425 million years ago. The rock matrix measures 10" x 6" x 1.25" thick (approximately) and weighs 6.4 lbs. The sea scorpions are well preserved and measure 1.565", 2.1875", and 3.75" long. Comes with a free Riker display box.
