Hero of the Battle of Gettysburg at Cemetery Ridge The Copse of Trees. Father of The Blue and Grey Reunions. His heroic deeds are well know and there is a monument at Gettysburg honoring him and his troops. Irrefutable linage of possession I acquired these and many items from the family estate. Cowan’s life and history are easy to find his obituary was on the front page of the New York Times. The pieces I believe were his by purchase or gifted to him. Case material makes these correct for 1872. Excellent condition for age in the original Tiffany & Company case. These are near or on original release of the pattern in 1872. Marked for Edward Moore’s period at the helm of Tiffany. More photos on request. Please no low ball offers the pieces are rare in original case now VERY rare and historic significance of a figure that walked in historic times. Ships fully insured signature of delivery.
