They can be used with a standard grid system What are they made out of? PVC, a light material that makes it easy to work with and maintain. The tiles can be cut just with regular scissors. They are also class A fire rated! How big are they? Roughly 23 3/4 in x 23 3/4 in x 0.50 mm (1 tile covers 4 sq. ft) How many 24x24 tiles would you need? Measure your area in square feet and divide the number by 4 This is exactly how many tiles you need. We always recommend to add 10% for waste to that number. As example. You have 200 sq ft area. 200 / 4 = 50. You need 50 tiles. Add 10% for waste and the final number is 55 tiles. Based on in-house experimentation and user feedback, we only recommend water-based paint for these tiles as any other is likely to damage the tiles. Adhesive is not required for drop in tiles. But, in case if you need it, we recommend to use PowerGrab All-Purpose (express or clear) or AcrylPro Mastic. Contact cement will also work fine. Click here to download installation instructions.
