Description: This is a beautiful and large Polynesian Tonga/Fiji outrigger canoe model. This specimen was in the collection of an Irish family who were missionaries in the South Pacific in the 1950s/1960s. It's in very good condition, just some age old scratches here and there and a couple of dings. The pandanus leaf sail is in fine condition. Some ropes are missing -- nothing major. It's a beautiful old (mid 20th century) model. Very attractive wood. ***See photos for best description. Measurements: Length is 30 inches; width 12 inches.
