Titled Black Friday Moth, this abstract work in Fitzpatrick's signature style depicts an orange, white, and black moth flying under an overhead light with an urban environment in the background and duck head along the lower edge. Displayed in a black frame and a white mat, the print is signed "T.F." and dated to the lower right, titled to the lower center, and numbered 6/45 to the lower left.A Chicago artist, Fitzpatrick's work is predominantly inspired by Chicago street culture. Fitzpatrick worked as an actor, radio host, bartender, and boxer before turning to art as a career. In 1992, he opened his own printmaking studio that also serves as an exhibition space.
