Description: This is "Tony the Tramp" by Horatio Alger published by Hurst & Co. sometime in the late 1800's to early 1900's. The book is undated though the prior owners inscription show them receiving it on Christmas of 1910. I have not been able to find this cover variant anywhere online, accept as the cover to a different book also published by Hurst & Co. called "Jed the Poorhouse Boy". Possibly this is a publishing error, or maybe the publisher re-used the same cover art for some reason. Per the photos note the age related wear: rub worn and blunted board corners; some spine fraying; some discoloration on back board; prior owner mark on first blank page; some hinge damage front and back.
